For undergraduate students:
Undergrad research assistants work in the lab for 10 hours a week in exchange for 3 course credits. Additionally, students attend weekly lab meetings and complete a final project each semester. See Psych 621: Mentored Research and Seminar syllabus for more info.
For senior thesis students:
The senior thesis is an independent research project undertaken in collaboration with a faculty advisor. Students who are interested in pursuing a senior thesis should excel in their PIRL research assistant duties and demonstrate a keen interest in the research questions investigated within the lab.
